this morning, i've founf a couple big clumps of fur on the floor, one in the kitchen, and one in the dining room.. i've never seen clumps this big come off of him before. they look almost like they had been cut off with scissors. i don't see a bare spot on cujo, but he's been really hyper and wiggly so i haven't been able to look him over super good. he seems to be acting normal. should i be worried about these weird clumps?

I dont have longhair cats, so I dont have experience with this sort of thing. However if Cujo is acting normally and eating ok, I would think it isnt to much to worry about.

Twinkie sheds big fur balls in some places so I think it seems pretty normal as long as he isn't missing big spots on him. Sugar doesn't shed like that though since her hair is so short. :wink:

Hehe I woke up this morning and I found a huge furball.. I thought my comforter was leaking feathers, it was alot!! Anyways didn't see any missing fur on him so maybe its just his winter coat shedding. :wink:

My cat, Prince, has only shed huge clumps of fur twice, and that's because my mom had stepped on his tail in the nighttime. He obviously shed them for protection.
