I took in a cat who was bouncing around. I was going to give her back to the original foster to find a home for her. But it was obvious that the cat was in pain. I knew the cat was partially blind. I was total that she got out and came back 2 days later blind, but was in good health. I took her to the vet today and she has glaucoma. From reading about it, it is very painful. I'm feeling so sorry for this cat that has had this condition way too long. Her name is Owl because she has very large beautiful eyes like an Owl. It breaks my heart to think of her losing those eyes. Does anyone have any experience with glaucoma? Her eye pressure is around 30 and she sees a specialist on Thursday. I've got drops to help relieve the pressure for her. From my understanding the blindness is permanent. I think that she still has some vision left and I hope that her eyes can be saved.
