A Norwegian forest cat as recruited me as her personal groomer (and servant).

Having long hair it is a health issue to brush her as often as possible and so far I did not find the right brush as yet.

some1 suggested me to get one called Furminator. does any1 know if it is a good one?

any help will be welcome

Thanks

The Furminator is good for removing a lot of dead fur at one time, but it shouldn't be used as a regular grooming tool, as is not intended as such. It should only be used around once a month or so. Both of my girls are long-haired, and I have found that the best grooming tool for daily grooming is a comb with wide-set teeth, rather than a brush, since the comb is able to get right down into the undercoat. I also use the Furminator about once a month (or about once every 2 weeks during the shedding season).
