Hello, I have a pet factors heated cat house for an outdoor cat. It is insulated and has two plastic flaps for the doors at either end. The mat inside will warm up as the animal lies on it. It is plugged in and set to 40° c, which is close to body temperature for a cat. However, I'm wondering if I should bump it up to 45 degrees Celsius as temperatures are starting to get very cold? But that would be 112 degrees Fahrenheit and I don't want him to get overheated. He uses at the low setting overnight but during the day prefers to curl up on our porch swing on the cushions. Today it is around 30f degrees outside. Last year he used it more often during the day as temperatures dropped. Does anyone have any experience with these beds and do you know if it's best to have them set warmer as the temperature drops outside? Our winters frequently get down into the teens.

Thanks!
