I'm a huge animal lover of both dogs and cats. I currently have two small dogs and 3 cats that I adore. they are all rescues from the local shelter. I have used this forum many times for info but decided it was time to sign in. Im 65 and I counted recently and i have had 22 cats in my life. I never had to give away or rehome any of them and most lived to be 13 to 18 years. I don't think I could ever not have cats in my life. Right now I have Charlie a gray tabby, Ziva a tuxedo and Taki a snowshoe siamese. The siamese has always been a favorite of mine but usually expensive. Taki's litter was found in a parking lot hiding under the cars and all his siblings were various colors. He was the only one with the snowshoe markings. He was traumatized and very skitzy when I got him. He has slowly warmed up to me, 3 years old now, and can be very lovable but still bolts with any sudden noise or movement. Ziva,3 years also, is the alpha cat. the only girl. she even bosses the dogs around. Charlie is 10 and he is my Teddy Bear, sweet as can be and just loves to be loved.
