Hi!

after I gave a shower to that homeless cat I adopted, I found that he has an wound behind his ear. It is not bleeding or anything but I think I should have the vet check it out.

The thing is, Bobo's vaccination appointment is on Monday, and I don't have any money right now until monday. Do you think it can wait?

at the mean time, can I put polysporin on it???

The wounds be hind his ears might be from him scratching at them. If you've ever seen ear mites you'd know why... They look like little tiny crabs and that scurry around in the ear. Once you treat a cat's ears for ear mites, the mites become more active as they die and that'll drive anyone nuts!

What you can do until you have a vet check it is lightly clean the area with some diluted hydrogen peroxide and then apply a triple antibiotic cream to the area up to two times a day.

Hope this helps! :)
