I doubt I could clean it's face-it's very wild. I'd probably loose my hand in the attempt, as well as loose control of the cat and have a wild cat running around my house. I talked to the feral cat trading post again, and they told me that since this cat probably hasn't been neutered yet(we haven't been able to catch him) the bill will probably be lower, because since he'll need to be sedated so the vet can look at his eye properly anyway, it will be covered in the neuter fee, and there's a feral fix program here in Utah that allows me to get feral cats altered for only $10, so all I'd have to worry about paying for is any medications he'd need. The feral cat trading post has also offered to loan me a crate the appropriate size for him for me to keep him in until he's well enough to be returned outside, and so that I can make sure the "tainted" food is eaten by only him.
