Too weird - I was just looking today for a holistic vet in my area. Glad you found one! The only one remotely close to me happens to be in my home town, but I know her, and she is very dog oriented. Cats are not her favorite animal (as if that's possible! ;-), and it showed. :-(
Do keep in mind that just b/c someone advertises him/herself as holistic, that doesn't mean he/she knows a thing about raw feeding. Many of these vets push prepared raw products, and some even push "natural" kibble.
Also, be sure that the vet is good in other ways as well. I choose vets based on how modern and up-to-date their clinics and equipment are, how well-educated they and their staff are, etc.--and the one "holistic" vet in the area fails on all counts, so he doesn't have my business.
