we let our kittens sleep in bed with us, but every morning, one of them insists on biting my boyfriend's ear. at first it was cute, b/c it was just a little nibble, but now little tyson is biting harder and it's starting to disrupt our sleeping patterns!

does anyone have any suggestions on how to teach him that this hurts, and to get him to stop? i'd hate to have to lock them out of the bedroom since i know they'd start crying and trying to break the door down.

any help or advice you can offer would greatly be appreciated :)

thanks,
brite

Try placing him on the ground every time they do that and don't pay any attention to him. Kick them out of the room to punish them and don't let him in even if he goes crazy out there. With persistence, he should stop that behavior or lessen it to some degree. Good luck!

I would suggest to show him you don't want that.
Say NO in a reslute way every time he tries to bite, hole up under the blanket every time he comes to your head.
But you must be very consitant and patient.
We had the problem that our cat always wanted to lick our faces. We handled it the same way and have been successful.

Good luck. :)
