In Sophomore year, I did an awsome painting, which captured the likeness (of a TV character) to a T. It rocks. It's on my wall. I've got paints, brushes, canvas, the whole kit'n'kaboodle to paint again. Problem is: I've now got Kittens. So how the **** do I paint with cats around? Painting in a closed room, not an option - anyone who knows Drizzle knows this.

Ideas?

You could add some objects to the room to keep them distracted, like toys, food or a cat tree, and have your painting equipment at the other end of the room. And make sure they know not to touch any of your things by reprimanding them with a loud 'No!' if they go near it.

cat sitter video, or have lots of things handy to throw so they can play with them? Are you painting with acrylics, watercolor, or oils? I hope not oils, because then by the time it dries, you'll surely have cat hair in it, and oil paint all over your kitty.
