How well do you know your cat? I know what my cat wants from just looking at what she does. If she wants feeding she looks at the place her food is put down and then goes over to the cupboard and sits by it(the cupboard is where the food is kept!) If she wants to play she'll just come up to your feet and bite them. lol :lol: If she wants to be left alone she will go and sleep in the shed as she has made herself her own spot in there!

I can always tell when my cat wants to play (which is quite often). I keep his stick with the feathers up on the fireplace mantle and he will sit in front of the fireplace looking up. If I look around the corner he will look at me and meow (in the saddest begging tone) and then immediately look up to the mantle as if he's motioning toward it. It's so cute because he will follow me around the house or sit in one spot waiting and as soon as I make any move in the direction of the living room he makes a beeline to the fireplace. He's so predictable with that.

I guess I know my cats pretty well. Never given it much thought but if I had to pick my cats out of a crowd of felines that looked exactly one I'm sure I could do it, just by their mannerisms.

Yes i know all my cats pretty well. They are follow us around, Joey looks at me me with his eyes or he willl scratched around his food dish until he get something to eat. Sabrina will go up on the microwave that is where the treats are kept; she tries to open the cupboard. If she wants loving; she meows and follows us around. And Toby gets in the way alot until he gets what he wants.

I always know what Precious wants if she cries and paws my knee when I'm sitting down. After checking food, water, and litter, I realized months ago that the paw is used only for really important things, such as asking me to throw the mousie for her to fetch.

I'm sure I could easily pick them out of a group. Blueberry would velcro himself to me! Precious would bring the mousie, and if I lie down to nap, Blueberry wraps around my legs and she sleeps on my shoulder. That seems to be the prime spot, and he's not allowed there unless she doesn't want to sleep! Also, he says MA! and HMMM? She speaks normal Siamese.
