I tried lining up all 6 Ferrets and as soon as I back away to grab the camera they all break and split up.... it's so frustrating LOL Thanks for the lovely comments.

I was going to ask how may you had total, but you answered that :D I've been thinking about getting a ferret for a while. I started reading a book about them a couple of weeks ago.....it's taking me a while to get through it!!

I want to make sure I've read up on them, before I decide to get one. My only real concern is still if it will smell. According to everything I have read so far. They say as long as you keep them clean the odor is minimal. Described as a musky scent. So what do you think....do they smell at all? I am obsessive about odor. I scoop my 3 litter boxes at least twice a day to make sure they don't smell.

Anything you can tell me about ferrets in general?

Speaking from experience with my 6 Ferrets this is what I can tell you.

My fuzzys don't smell, they all 6 are litter trained but 2 will have a accident once in awhile when they can't make it to the litter box, I use regular cat litter, Fresh Scoop which helps minimize odors. Don't let their litter box go uncleaned for more then 6 hours, but with one Ferret or even two you won't have to clean it that much but since I have 6 of them it is required. Wipe-down the bars, toys and food bowls once weekly and allow the Ferret to bathe with the appropriate Ferret Shampoo. Special kind of liquid is available for you to put in their water to make their stool less smelly, I know a step up for mankind, eh?
