I TRUST YOU RECEIVED MY REPLY TO YOURS CONCERNING MY TONE and IGNORANCE TO ALL EXCEPT THE CAT . My intentions were not to do anything but salute and hug you. If YOU HAVE NOT SEEN MY REPLY PLEASE DO. Otherwise here is what I knew was goijng to be the result. MY CAT OF 8 YEARS WAS BROUGHT TO THE VET AS SOON AS 15 MINUTES FOLLOWING MY READING YOUR REPLY. And Jeanie he gave NO SIGNS prior to the evening prior.

THANK YOU! Unfortunately, there were no one shot in the but cures and all the vet did was blood, x-ray and a feel job. I insisted on pain meds as well as a laxitive. The cat passed on 20 hours later.   I will not detail the facts except add he appeared as if he passed in his sleep. I have much to share I just do not find this the approppriate vehicle.

I am angered at the vet as I treated him and his staff quite decently. A gift and conversation which provided production in his business as well as listuing him on a couple of my web sites. These aside from handing him $300.+. These words have me still stunned
" ...his temperature is running a little below normal..."
Which prompted my question as to its affect and meaning. Reluctantly, he stated
"... it means the cat is not fighting this..."
So unknowingly that moment was he actually took my money (blood and x-ray) after he already diagnosised via temperature and the body search he allowed me to leave with a cat whom progressively failed health deteriated while I was home. Ny mother was with the cat and leaves for work at the time I arrived back. Although I did not see here it was moments.

The latter here is what I will not share for now. Anyway thank you again, and luckily the other (25lb lighter cat) is not sick as we will watch and care for him with an emphasized attention.

Anyway, Jeanie I need to go as I am working my toward the 100 things that need attention. Please respond if you like.

Joe

Sorry to hear about your loss.
There is currently a little bit about what happened with the emegency section-
http://www.catforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=6112

But the basics of it was all the admins got together and decided in the end it was best it went. If you ever saw some of the posts there, we had people waiting for a reply instead of going to see a vet. And people getting angry because the cat was getting worse while they waited for replies, again instead of getting to a vet.

I understand you are upset, but it would be easier for you if only one thread was open reguarding this- I know the titles are different, but the post is the same.
Here is a link to the other thread-
