This morning after we gave Spotty his injection, I left the insulin sitting out of the fridge for about an hour. Think it's ok? Thanks, Milt.

Call a pharmacist or your vet and ask. Make sure to tell them the name of the insulin you are using.

Yes, it is still good if you only let it stay out over an hour. It is the temp it got to that you have to worry about. It also has to do with the type of insulin you are using. I use novolog in my insulin pump & it lasts 2 days in the summer heat without refrigeration. Check the company's website & see what it says about the time left out without refrigeration - the company provides guidelines.
