After we found out for sure we were going to have to place Tom(our feline leukemia positive kitty) my husband let me bring two new kittens into the house to help ease the pain of having to give Tom up. They are both seal point siamese boys. They are almost four months old. They are both so sweet, but such little terrors! I will post pics as soon as I figure out how. I would actually love to post pics of all my cats if anyone can give me some pointers on how to put them on here. Thanks!

How wonderful your getting 2 new members! It works out great since your other kitty will be going where you can visit and then you will have 2 more kitties for your household. :D

You can also go to cat photos on the top right of the forum and upload the pictures from your hard drive. Other wise, you would have to find a free image hosting site to upload photos to, and then would link the pictures here with

Ok I uploaded pictures of all but two of my cats. The first picture is of Momma. I have had her since she was about 1-2 years old and she is now around 8 or 9. I rescued her off of the streets of Indianapolis. The second picture is of Molly. Her and her daughter Bailey were both strays that I took in. I have had them since Molly was about a year old and Bailey was just a baby. They are now 5 and 6. The third picture is of my sweet Bob. He was also a resuce and is about a year and a half old. The fourth picture is of Mamma Kitty. I fostered her and her six kittens for my local humane society. Her kittens all found homes, but I just couldn't give her up. We just found out about two months ago that she has small cell lymphoma. She is on a chemo drug and doing great, so fingers crossed she lives a long life. And last but not least are my two newest boys. They are inseparable. If they loose sight of each other, they start crying until they find each other again. I will try to get pics of my other two girls and post them as well.

I must tell you(but don't tell the other cats) that Bob is my favorite. He is sooo handsome. He was from a litter of barn cats that my vet saved from her grandfathers farm. None of his siblings have the medium length fur like he does. I wish I would have gotten his tail in the picture, it is so incredibly long and fluffy. And the amazing thing is, he hardly sheds and his fur never mats. My short haired cats shed way more than he does. My husband calls him "the perfect cat".

Beautiful cats. How can you afford to keep so many?? I would love to have a ton of cats but I don't think I could keep up with them, or pay for their vet bills, especially in emergencies. My house would probably stink and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to give them all the attention they deserved. How do you do it? You're like super mom!

Well, I work at the vet clinic where my cats are patients, so I get a 50% discount on everything. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to afford to have so many. Even with my discount I can't believe how much I spend!! I just paid off my balance of $600.00 about two months ago, and it is now right back up at $600.00 again. I think this year alone I have spent almost $3000.00 dollars there(and that's with my discount). They are all worth it though! :D

Wow -- that explains things then. Still that's a huge balance! And of course your kitties are worth it -- our kitties are worth everything we go through for them.
