Hallo, I'm Jacq.
I'm a recent graduate (Linguistics) that's gearing up to enter grad school this September, I currently work as a research assistant to the professor that will be supervising my thesis.
This is my cat, Io (like the moon). We've had her about two weeks now.
She was a 'friendly' form the local no-kill NPO's Trap-Neuter-Release program. I went to the big cat house with my partner, and we looked at probably 15 different options, but when I saw her curled up in the back of her cage (she had just had her microchip done), it was love at first sight. :luv
When we first looked at her, they estimated her to be about 6 months old. After sending her to the vet, though, they spayed her and realized she's closer to a year! She'll always be a tiny girl, but she's sooooo friendly and soft. Her tail's like a squirrels!
She very sweet, but sometimes you can tell she grew up outside, because she can get quite wild. He adoption won't be finalized for another few weeks but I already know she's found her forever home with me.
