Hi!
I've got two wonderful cats, but was looking for some nutritional advice.

One of my cats, Ayella, is getting up in the years, she's about 15 now, and she's dropped a little weight over the past few years. While she had previously been happy on a full kibble diet, I find she now doesn't really eat it much, no matter the brand. My other cat, Oscar, is about 9 and a little overweight. I'd like to try and put him on a diet, while still keeping the older one eating lots. The problem stems that once Oscar finishes the smaller amount in front of him, he'll chase away Ayella and eat her food. Is my only option to put Oscar in a separate room until Ayella has finished?

Hi and welcome! Putting Oscar in a separate room is one option, unless you're otherwise able to distract him once he's finished. As for the diet, you might also consider switching from dry to wet food.
