My life is very dysfunctional. Since I got my cat almost three years ago we've moved about 6 times. I currently have to move again in a month and then again 6 months after that. I was wondering if it would be better for her if I gave her into a steady home. Or if not because she already has attachment issues. I live with roommates and am a student.

Why worry about it now? It's been going on for 3 years, she's obviously very adaptable.

Hi CatLover!
Describe the 'Attachment' issues please! The more detail we know, the better we may be able to advise!

This is the same cat that you wanted to take in your car for play dates with other cats?

Generally I think it is more important for a cat to be with their owner regardless of where they're living.

Due to some unexpected circumstances a few years ago, I had to move with my cats several times within a short span. They bounced back quickly and I didn't see any negative long-term effects.

Can you describe what you mean by attachment problems? Maisie had problems with that when I first got him because he was previously abandoned, but we were able to work through it. You can probably get some good advice here for how to help.
