One of my kittens Eddie, is 10 months old now...every opportunity she gets, she steals lettuice!
I am on a diet at the moment so these opportunities are quite regular...is Eddie normal and will all the lettuice harm her in any way?

hehe.. a little lettuce won't hurt but I wouldn't let her eat too much. I too have to remind my cat that he is a carnivore. He eats anything and everything, especially if it falls off of my plate.

LOL. Quite normal, cats are copyists. they have to have anything you tend to eat a lot. bib lettuce is high in water so won't hurt her any even if she doesn't digest the fiber bits.

I went to a nutritionist (for humans) whose pure-bred cat ate lettuce.....
I would say a little bit of lettuce is fine, akin to cat grass. No nutritional requirement, but not the worse thing kitty could eat.
