I don't really know how to explain this right: my cat likes to wipe her gums on my skin, I mean she actually opens her mouth and rubs her wet gums all over me. It's wet and smells and is pretty disgusting! I even got a rash from it. she does it all the time. My other cat has never done this. I know they want to spread their scent, but LIKE THAT?

The fact that it smells tells me she may be having dental issues. Her teeth and gums may be sore and rubbing them may make them feel better. I suggest getting her teeth checked out by a vet.

I agree, if it smells a dental cleaning is likely in order. Have your vet check out her mouth.

My cat at my parents house (Callie) does this too. The vet said it's because she's older and it makes them feel good. She said for a 15 year old cat her gums are actually in pretty good shape.
