Cookie turned one on Oct. 31st. She is such a joy. We have 5 dogs, with which she's been raised. She thinks she's one of them!! We love her SO much.

Also, about a month ago, my husband and I were at the casino, walking to our car. Out of no where pops up a little torti girl. She was on the hood of a car next to ours. I thought she was feral, but decided to talk sweet to her to see if I could get her out of the cold (it was 28* that night). She jumped into my arms!! Within a few weeks, it was obvious that she is pregnant. She's not had them yet, but I'm willing to bet it will be any day now. My 3 year old fell in love with her and named her Sprinkles. She is AWESOME. So good with the kids and the dogs. So, she's a keeper! Anyway- here are some photos of Sprinkles and Cookie!

gorgeous cats! I especially like Cookie because I've never seen a tortie with blue eyes :)

I just had a random thought- if Pumpkin and Simone were to ever have a kitten (which they can't because they are fixed) I imagine it would like like Cookie!

Wow! Cookie has the most unusual beautiful coloring! And Sprinkles - tee hee - congrats on being adopted by a Tortie. They are "Jumped into my arms" Rock Stars! Mine spends as much time as I will let her lying on my chest. At the shelter before I brought her home: if you opened the cage door, brrrrrrrrrrttt, right into your arms. How can you NOT bring them home?

Thank you everyone! As of today, still no babies. I did bring her to the vet for an xray to determine how many we're looking at. She's got about 5 in there. My vet said she's due any day. That was a week ago today :) She's doing well and we love her as though she's been here forever!

Cookie is beautiful! I am totally biased towards torties... and Malley made herself known by jumping into my lap at a shelter. They have a way of worming into our hearts! Can't wait to see her kitties!

When I had her xrayed we discovered that she had 2 broken legs at some recent point. The femurs of both rear legs were snapped in half. She must have dragged herself around for several months before she healed enough to walk on her own. There was no vet care given when the breaks occurred. It breaks my heart to know how much pain she must have been in.
