the cats have taken over the freezer. I have more meat for the cats than for us...lol. I have also learned a lot about the anatomy of Quails, Rabbits, Ducks, Turkeys, etc. I think I may be able to now give my local butcher a run for his money when it comes to cutting up and rationing out the meat if he only sold half of the meat stock I can get from the Asian market. From my visits to the Asian market, I have learned to make several dishes, which have now been added as a staple to my family's diet, and we are totally addicted to cooking a lot of stuff in the Bamboo steamer (which is very healthy).

I suppose what I am realizing is that feeding partially raw has changed my lifestyle somewhat, mostly in positive ways. I still do feed one canned meal a day, but the cats are doing really well. Azalia is back to a normal healthy weight and very muscular. Egypt has gained some weight since being adopted. She is now at a great weight and also really muscular. They are very energetic, their coats are shiny and soft, their teeth are in great shape, and their bowel movements are very regular and not stinky and gross like they used to be on the kibble.

Anyone else can think of ways in which switching to raw feed has changed their or their cat's life?

Taken over the freezer is right! There's definitely more 'pet meat' in there than human meat. I also find that I'm constantly cutting up meat because there isn't enough room in there to store all the containers. So I have to wait til some of it gets consumed and then cut up more meat again. :(

Also I find I am constantly sharpening my knife! Cutting up meat for some reason dulls it fast. My arm is getting more muscular from all this work!
