Ok as I stated in my intro we have a single cat, Ducki. She is a Turkish Van/x she is 10 months old and is small built, only about 5lbs but not skinny, just small.(I will find out her exact weight when I take her to the vet on the 17th!;))

So we started raw this morning(I feed all 3 dogs RAW, PMR) so she got chicken as well(as that is what the boys where having.) I weighed her out for 4% of 5.5lbs and have given her a little bit at a time with so far 3 feedings(she has enough for about one more evening feeding left.) She has had issues in the past(on TOTW kibble mixed with canned, in h2o, tuna) of her gobbling large amounts fast and bringing it back up....so I assumed that I should probably keep her to a few small feedings at least while she is young?

Anyways...so here are my questions...

Is this a good amount to give her to start out(and of course watch her to see if she goes up/down on weight)?
I know that her Momma only weighs about 11lbs, but she is much taller then Ducki and is 6, so fully filled out.

Also should I continue with the multiple small feedings or should I give her 2 or 3? (Im a stay at home wife so if she needs a lot of small feedings I dont mind!)

(BTW she has eaten her servings RIGHT up, both within 10 min, so Im not worried about it being hard to swap her over!LOL)

Thanks to all who can understand what my questions are and who answer them!:)

I would say with an active kitten, 4% is okay to start out.. just keep a good eye on her weight and if she starts packing it on, cut her down. I don't imagine she would need to be on 4% very much longer? My cats tend to eat 3-4oz a day each (depending on age/activity level and weight) and two are active young female cats (probably about 9lbs each) that get about 3.5-4oz.

I think that 3-4 meals a day is fine. Our cats have always had 2 meals a day (I find the bigger the meal, the more they have to chew to swallow it and therefore less horking it back up again), but if it 3-4 works for your lady - then go ahead. :)

Awesome thank you!:) That is EXACTLY why I decided to come onto a cat forum and find out when to start feeding 2-3% of body weight, since if she was a dog I would still be feeding on the higher side!lol

So thank you very much!:) I think Im going to go her first week with 4 feedings and see how that goes for her then see if I can cut her down to 3 after that!:D
