I just got back several hours ago from taking Kali to the vet again today for her second kitten shot series. :) She did really good and only whimpered a little bit for a second or two. She ate a lot after she got back from the vets and now is just sitting around relaxing. :) In three more weeks she goes back for her last kitten shots. :) We also noticed a small flea problem with her, not a big one but I felt sorry for her so we got some advantage from the vet. We applied it soon after we got home from the vet and I don't think I've seen her scratch but once or twice since. :) I just wanted to let share that Kali did good again today! :) I was proud of her. The vet said she had a cute face and that she had rare markings on her face. He was hitting on Kali ;)LOL jk! Have a good day everyone. I hope you and all your animals are doing ok in the warm heat. Bye

Heheheh Psi just went for his 2nd set of shots today too. He meowwwwwwwwed in the car but was pretty good when we got to the vet. Just sitting and watching all the dogs - there were A LOT of dogs and only 1 other cat. He didn't cry when he got his shot but the F.I.P. up the nose wasn't very pleasant. He slept all afternoon and he's now up and at 'em playing with his new scratching post that he won't let Samhain near hehehe.

Glad Kali is doing well!!!

That's very creepy. LOL Talk about a very odd coincidence. Either way I'm glad that Psi is doing good too! I never watch for the shots or medicines I let my Mom do that. I have to turn away. I know it's whimpy but I just can't see or know the fact that I'm causing something to poke them or anything like that. :p Anyway, I'm glad Psi is doing good. :) Kali also meowed a lot in the car until we got inside the vet and back home lol. She was ok though. Anyway I better go but have a good day and everything. :) bye

Is it common practise to vaccinate against FIP in your coumtry?

Yesterday he got:

Feline Leukemia
FVRCP/C
F.I.P

Top two were boosters from three weeks ago. The last is a 1 shot deal and she said he'll be good for a year now. Do you not vaccinate against F.I.P in Europe? How come?

No we don't (at least not in Sweden). First of all, FIP isn't common at all here in Sweden and cats used for breeding are regulary tested against diseases such as FIP. The only case of FIP that I personally know of was an import, infected abroad.
The vaccin that is available isn't very effective. Only cats that are exposed to FIP are vaccinated.
