My Luna is about 6 months old now, she hasn't been spayed yet...I'm not quite sure how old we can spay her too. But she's been acting really crazy lately, always meowing and running around the room knocking things over, jumping off our couches and bed. It gets a little frustrating at times.

She esp meows a lot when either my husband or I are watching tv or doing something not pretaining to her. The times that she does (meow) I look at her and say "What's wrong Luna?" She looks at me and meows and comes straight to me. I pet her for a few secs and then she quickly runs away... :?:

I know she's a kitten still but is she in heat? If not, what age do they go in heat?

she could be in heat at this age. Another sign is either presenting her back end to you, or just presenting it (sticking it up in the air at you, and being really low down with her head)

she is also old enough to be spayed, best thing to do is make a vets app

I agree. Six months is a good age for spaying.

You can get your cat spayed since she is 8 months. Vets usually require at least 6 mths. to get that done and some even say as early as 4-5 months! :wink:
