We adopted a Maine **** kitten about a week ago. After we brought him home we noticed his strange behavior. He tips over a lot. He walks like he's drunk and runs into walls. I called the lady where we adopted him from, and she said he has done this since birth. She said she took him to the vet and the vet stated that the cat would be fine, and that his equilibrium is off and that's why he acts funny. Sometimes his head shakes back and forth along with his eyes.

Anyway, has anyone ever heard of this before and will he have problems in the future? He is quite beautiful, long hair and all gray. I do love him a lot and hope that he's okay. Just curious if anyone has heard of this happening with a cat. He's 3 months old and we've named him "Tipper".

Thanks

Thanks

I am going to call and get him an appointment today. Although the previous vet claims he was born this way and will remain this way, I have a hard time believing this. He definately has a serious problem. Thanks for your reply.
