Hi, my 1 year old kitten has one eye that will not dilate. It isn’t red, there is no discharge but he is squinting. He and our 2 year cat have been playing rough for the past couple of days. I am thinking he just injured it? Is this something we need to visit the vet over? Thank you!

Hi Suzannea,
Yes! Please take your little guy to the vet!
The vet can look much deeper into his eye, with a special dye and a scope, to make sure there's not a deeper issue that needs treatment, in which case, if caught early, can save his eye, and eyesight!

The fact that he doesn't have any discharge from his eye, doesn't mean, it's not injured...

With cats, it's often what we can't/don't see, that is the most important, and, worrisome!
Best wishes!
