The watery eyes are not normal. This could be the start of a eye infection. You can either take him to the vet or use a soft cloth dipped in warm water cleaning the eye gently several times a day. See if this will help clear up the problem but if it continues to get worse, you should take him to the vet. Generally, a kitten does not get the clear adult looking eye until they are a little older.
