See previous rant below for details on my thieving scavenger kitties.. BUT in all of this, I do realize they are so comforting. :)

My 6 month old kittens have barely left my side since I've been home from surgery. I keep a pillow on my tummy as they don't know that jumping on me could send me through the roof! They curl up on me and purr away. I think it's their way of helping me to heal - it’s amazing how perceptive, and comforting, animals are. It made me cry, in those first days, when your body and hormones are all out of whack. They definitely are helping me recover faster. I love them.

Aww, kitties are indeed comforting! Good to hear they are doing their part in helping you heal!

I caught a cold and felt icky this weekend and did alot of laying around on the couch & both my cats tooks naps with me too. Lily likes to get on my lap, but if I'm on my side, she still tries to lounge on top of me-balancing on my hip. It's kind of cute.
