As the title said when our cat poops mainly for the last 3 days or so, she has blood on the end of her poop, a tiny amount. We got her 3 weeks ago and we’ve changed her diet to dry and wet food (previously dry food). I’m wondering if it’s stress or should I be very worried. I have a vet appointment for Monday but I don’t know if it’s soon enough. Please let me know anything I can do (and so my girlfriend doesn’t kill me with her anxiety)

I should also state, she hasn’t been lethargic, she’s more friendly and outgoing with us. We’re just worried about the blood is all.

Was it dry blood in the stool, or a small amount of fresh blood on it? The latter may be nothing to worry about, just a bit of irritation in the colon. Definitely best to have a vet check just in case, though.

It’s fresh blood and a very small amount. Only happens sometimes.
