I just adopted a 4 month old kitten and I discovered a lump on her back right leg. It is under the skin and rather large. I saw that they sometimes they give shots in the hind legs for rabies and that can cause lumps. I looked up her paperwork and her rabies was given a month ago so I figure if the lump was temporary from a vaccine it would be gone by now.

I have a vet appointment on saturday but that seems so long to me right now. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what it could be or any past experiences.

Thanks!
