My poor kitten must have chomped on some thing wrong and now his right lower gum is swollen, not sure what it was, but I think he may have been poked by a feather on one of his toys or stung by a wasp. He doesn't seem to be in alot of pain, I can touch his jaw and he doesn't cry, but he can't eat or drink anything, and if he opens his mouth too far he crys in pain. :( Is there anything I can do for him?

I am feeling really sorry for him and its tugging at my heartstrings.

I called all of my vets in the area and no one can get him in for a few days. 8O He is still playing and acting normal, I just wish I could help him now. :(
