Maybe some of you know the answer to my question. Is the meat in cat food sterilized at such high temperatures, that 'everything' in it is destroyed? I mean, why do they have to add so much vitamins and minerals? Is there nothing left in the meat, except for the taste?

I don't know how much that is destroyed when the meat is heated but even if you serve raw meat you have to add vitamines and minerals. Just because it's raw it doesn't mean it's complete. I cook my own cat food and I started with cooked meat but I'm turning over to raw meat now, but like I saidm vitamines and minerals still have to be added and you have to add taurine.
