This is a pic of my two boys last year, when Tiger was in better health. I think it's obvious who is who, LOL. While they looks like best buds here, in reality they would never choose to be this close together, LOL! For the most part they tolerate each other, with an occasional little spat. Usually they will each take one end of the couch, or each sit on either side of the front door.

Both were strays, Tiger was well established in the neighborhood when we moved in and he adopted us because he preferred families with kids, believe it or not, and his previous kids were now in college. He's been with us 9 years now. Blackie showed up about 4 years ago. When we got back from vacation he was living in the garage. Not sure how he managed to pull that off, and neither is Tiger! Tiger tolerates him, but is now extremely territorial with other cats, like he'll be damned if another one sneaks past him!

Tiger is unfortunately down to his last weeks or days, but I'm so glad I have this picture of the two of them.

They are both handsome boys. Sorry about Tiger. I am sure he has had a happy, loving life with your family.

That's a great picture and I'm so sorry to hear about Tiger. They look just like my two, right down to the white patch on the black cat's chest :)

Wow, they do look alike! Except yours doesn't have the somewhat dopey expression mine does, LOL! He usually has his tongue hanging out of his mouth, too, which doesn't help. We love him, but have to admit he seems a little on the dumb side. He will sit at the back door in the rain begging to come on, rather than just stay in the garage where it is dry & he has a bed & heater (he unfortunately is not allowed inside other than for short, very closely supervised visits, because he insists on spraying). He is a bratty little brother, too, and will rub up against Tiger like he's loving on him, but he's really just doing it to be annoying.

Tiger is my sweetheart; very friendly, well-behaved and smart. The whole neighborhood seems to know him. He used to be really cuddly until the last year when he started acting like it was uncomfortable to be held, but he still wants to be near us.
