Actually she doesn't. She likes lying on my tummy and being stroked but if you put your arms round her she runs off. She's always been a bit skittish and stand offish. My mum didn't actually get to see much more of her other than a black blur running off until I was taken into hospital for two weeks and she had to come in daily to feed her. Since then she's been a bit more confident in meeting new people. She's got a bit more affectionate in her old age, but she still runs off if you make an unexpected move.
She does have an annoying habit of insisting on visiting me and miaowing at me whilst I'm using the *ahem* bathroom facilities! lol
Ha! Cats and bathrooms! If I go in the bathroom and *gasp* close the door...I will have between 3-7 cats waiting for me to get out. It is like a kitty-mine-field. Husband just has to look for the cats to find wherever I am in the house.
Kitty is beautiful, I really love the longhairs. I used to think I didn't care for the longhairs, until I moved to Georgia and half of the cats we took in were long hairs. Is kitty all black, or does she have some orange to make her Tortie (tortoiseshell)?
