This is our dog Cisco. He's a purebred Papillon.
He's a rescue. He was the house dog at the house my current roomie and myself rented rooms from.
His then owner treated him bad for years. He was a gift to her daughter. The rotten kid lost interest when Cisco got too big for her purse.
Poor little guy was neglected for years.
He adopted us the minute we moved in. Even before we got custody we took him to the vet, got him better food, proper grooming, took him for walks and car rides etc.
His former owner got custody of her Grandkids. The state of Washington told her to get rid of Cisco.
We took him immediately. He's a smart, sweet silly dorky dog.
My cat Miss M isn't too fond of him. She'll just have to get over it.

He is adorable, and bless your heart for taking him in. Hopefully Miss M gets used to him. You have a knack for loving those animals that others have rejected

Cute. You sound like a great pet owner Zeke.
Thank you.

I'm not sure I'm the owner. The running joke is we are the pet humans.
Pets in my house have the same standing as myself and my roommate.
They get better food, medical care and tons of attention.

We make their lives better. In turn they enrich our lives exponentially by being themselves.

The pic's not there, but I got to see him in the other thread.

How badly his former owner must have treated him for the state to grant her custody of her grandchildren but not of her dog! :(
