I suppose they are "teenagers" now, they're almost five months old, but sheesh they are moody! Lovey dovey one second then acting as if I am the monster who eats kittens the next! Hopefully, the impending removal of their boy parts will see an end to this! LOL

It won't. Their behaviour isn't aggressive, it's play. Kittens at this age are still pretty much babies and they're still learning how much pressure is too much pressure and what is or isn't allowed.

Neutering won't help, but daily play times will! Get a laser pointer or wand toy and tire those monsters out twice a day. If they have a safe and acceptable outlet for their energy they'll be less likely to chomp at you.

The other thing to do is if you do get chomped replace your arm with something they ARE allowed to chomp, like a toy. people forget, but kittens teeth too just like puppies or babies. They need to have things they can chew on to ease the discomfort. Look for toys that are designed for small breed puppies to chew on, firm but kind of gummy...if that makes sense.

Don't get mad when they do it, they aren't trying to be mean, in fact it's because they like you and want to play with you! Just exchange your body parts for a toy every time. It does take a while for them to catch on and grow out of the phase, but if you're consistent it'll be quicker!
