Hopefully this will work. I took this video of Miss Effie when she was about 9 months old ... from memory! she was full of the joys of life that morning!

Catch her tail gently and give it to her. In other word help her. IF the tail is not irritating (which could be a cause of the behaviour) then she should come to understand that the tail is part of herself.

Just guessing.

Heh, she worked it out in the end. She was a particularly nutty, naughty tortie kitten and has grown up to be only a slightly less nutty tortie adult :cool: She's SO much fun!
