Hi I'm new here...and to the whole pet having thing.

I have a cat...a little siamese/javanese cat (i think)...he was gifted to me...he's about a year old.

Just recently, in the past couple of months he's started peeing everywhere, I haven't got him neutered yet...so thats next on the agenda.

But for some reason, the past week, he's become frightened of me...or at least i think...his hair will stand up on his back, he'll hiss at me, and then he....MOANS...its weird. If i come near him he'll attack me....I dont know whats wrong with him!! Before this he would let me pick him up whenever, so this is strange to me. I thought it might be my sweatpants that i work out in....but then i showered and changed, and still...

any ideas? thanks...

Could be he is very uncomfortable with a urinary tract infection or crystals in his urine. That would also explain the urinating everywhere. I would call your vet ASAP. Keep us posted.

so i washed my clothes...and that seems to have fixed the problem...this past week has been the bumming week and i've been wearing my gym clothes/bum clothes and the smell of sweat was on them. After i washed them, my Mirza (cat) has been an angel.

I think he may have a crush on you. Better get to that neuter appointment before you find roses on your pillow and he's playing spanish guitar with that howling!
