He was adopted from the Edmonton Humane Society when I first began college, and he's been with me for four years =D

His left eye has a little gooby part, that has been that way since I adopted him. The vet says its probably just from fighting as a kitten.

He's also enthralled with the computer. And no, I did not name him Casino because I'm a big gambler! Infact I just started playing online poker like 6 months ago. So merely coincidence =)

Beaners is a big giant suck. He is always on me. And really only me. He's just started to come around to the roommate after being here three months. And when I go to bed, he has to be right infront of me. If I turn over, he walks over me so that he's laying infront of me again. Yea, I spoon my cat >.< Haha.

And Momma and the babies. Momma has had a hard life already. A couple months ago we saw two black kittens outside (now called Blackie and Boots...real original!), so my mom started feeding them. One thing lead to another, and she brought them inside. But at that time she couldn't catch the mom to bring her in. Next thing we know there are two grey kittens, so we called the animal rescue and they came and got those kittens, but still couldnt catch mother. So eventually, when it got really cold, my mom upped her efforts and somehow got Momma inside, and little did we know she was pregnant again. This is the result (and she WILL be fixed as soon as possible!). The striped one is Stripey/Todd/Cricket. We have issues deciding on her name, haha. One of the black ones is Bear, because her ears are a little bit floppy and she looks like a little bear cub. A second black one is Damien, she's female and is kind of dazed and confused. She will sit there and just stare up at you, or run into the living room and then randomly stop and look confused, haha. And the third all black kitten is Geisha, because she was the last to open her eyes, and so my sister called her the asian one (and I mean no offence by that). And the last one, the black one with the white stripe down his nose, is Mingo. He's pretty kick ass. Him and Stripey/Todd/Cricket are the little trouble makers, haha.

I'm sure there's going to be a lot more, since I'm going home this weekend and will have lots of play time with the kittens!~

Oh goodness, Mingo is working his kitten hypnotism on me. "Stare into the pretty picture human. You want me. You want to take me home and scoop me up in your arms and kiss me all over and give me lots of treats."

Mingo :luv

It was so good of you and your mom to help this momma cat. She's going to have a much better life because of you, not to mention her kittens.

They're all adorable!

Awwww!! I'm so glad your Mom managed to catch Momma cat. I lived in Edmonton for two years and yeeeeeeee, it does get COLD there! Those are adorable pictures of lucky, healthy, beautiful kittens. And the eyes on Casino are captivating!

Welcome!

Mingo is my little buddy. He chilled on the couch with us while we were watching TV last night, and then cuddled up beside me while he slept. Heart melted! He is my favorite (as much as it pains me to even have a favorite!). They all have such distinct personalities. I know I'm on a slippery slope here and am going to be devistated when we have to give them away =( However there will be more pictures to come tonight once I get home and upload them! Haha.
