I'm so happy to finally be a cat guardian! This is my beautiful kitten, Agnes. She is fourteen weeks old. She seems maybe a touch small for her age, or maybe it has just been awhile since I have spent time with a kitten! She is an extremely friendly little lady who enjoys sleeping in laps, running around like a banshee, climbing my husband's leg like a tree, and trying to befriend my 16 month old son.

Now that I am caring for this lovely little cat I will have lots of questions along the way I'm sure! I am happy to have this resource available and be able to tap into the knowledge of experienced cat caretakers.

Oh! She is darling! She looks very sweet indeed!
She does look a bit small, but she could go through a growth spurt in your care anytime soon, lol. Any idea of her weight?

I honestly don't think you'll be needing any catnip (that is a huge bottle, lol) for some months, though! My two were totally immune to it until at least 6 months!

Oh, I just posted in your other thread, hassling you to post pics - sorry! What a little sweetheart she is!! She does look small, and in that second pic, her tail looks like the tail of a much younger kitten! What a beautiful little face she has. :)

She has the sweetest little face!!! What an adorable black kitty, I also have a soft spot for black cats. I'm pretty sure we have the same container of nip at home, we use it to "marinate" their toys in separate plastic baggies. Does she have green eyes? So pretty.

Thanks guys! I think she is pretty cute too but I am already under her spell. I don't know her weight yet but she's going to the vet next week so I'll find out then. Now I wish I had a food scale! She is very fine boned. Can I ask for clarification about her tail? It is longer than it looks in the picture, she had it curved down with only the tip showing above her back, if that makes sense.

That's good to know about the catnip! I bought it before even got her in a fit of kitty fever. She hasn't shown much interest in the nip itself but she loves the little ball that came in it.

Her eyes are kind of an amber green. In some light they look green and in other light they look Amber gold.

This is our third day with her. My husband and I just love her already. My son is mostly jealous but he is getting used to her to. Of course all their interactions are closely supervised but I have been pleasantly surprised by how gentle they have been with each other.
