So it seems that Rocky the dog loves Cap'n Jack because he's quiet, but just tolerated Miu because she's rowdy. This was made more evident by a recent incident that sent me into fits of laughter.

Cap'n Jack was sitting around his room doing nothing. Miu went in there and proceeded to wrestle him. (Putting her whole forearm around his neck.) Rocky saw this from a distance and charged over to save Jack. Miu scampered away. Rocky stayed and sniffed Jack to make sure he was okay. Then he left.

My mom once saw a similar incident, but at the end, Rocky actually escorted Jack for a while as Jack walked away from the scene, just to make sure he was okay! Rocks is like Cap'n Jack's personal bodyguard.

Poor Cap'n Jack. He's so docile and slow, but Miu is fast and b!tchy. I'm starting to think Jack is actually older than 1.5 yrs the vet says he might is. Miu is like a mexican jumping bean, but Jack moves around like a sloth. Even after we introduced him to a laser pointer, he tries to catch it so slowly while Miu swats with lightning speed.

He's also pretty funny because it seems although he's learned about cat toys, he still doesn't play much. Also, now that he's being fed by his human waitress, he doesn't have to hunt all day. Since, he doesn't know what to do with his newfound free time, sometimes, he spends time just sitting there staring off into space. It makes him look like a dunce. If you go over to give him scratches, he purrs and loves it so much, he's like a drug addict. He'll actually drool and roll his eyes back in pleasure. Weirdo. Haha.

I had to chuckle at Rocky's reaction to Cap'n Jack...that's adorable...his own little guardian angel!
