Hello all, a brief introduction.
I'm 34, living in Baltimore, and I have a tiny blue cat named Tallulah. She's small but she's scrappy and I often get bossed by her 5.5 lb self. She lived in 4 homes before she found her forever home with me. As a result, she has a little separation anxiety. She does not like it when I sit outside. But she does greet me at the door when I come home from work in the evening (I'm willing to admit that this might be the Food Person Returns effect). Bizarrely enough, Tallulah freaking looooves cayenne pepper. She rolls in it, rubs her face all over the shaker, she tastes a wee bit that she knocked onto the counter, makes a squinty/pursey face, sits quietly for a moment, and then she rubs her face all over the shaker again. Even though she's from Delaware, I'm convinced she's southern at heart. I know cayenne is usually used as a behavior deterrent... what to do when they really like the stuff that's supposed to keep them away from the forbidden?
