Hard to say...
Is that the only spot that he has? Does he have similar ones elsewhere? How long has it been there?
Unfortunately the best way is to have a Vet/Vet nurse check it out.. Especially if isn't going away.
Keep us updated..
its been there about 3 weeks, doesnt seem to bother him even when i touch it and yes its the only spot on him. thanks for responding

Possibly a spider bite? At first I thought it might be feline acne but with the area around it being discolored it looks more like a bite of some sort.
THANK YOU SO MUCH , I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT THE WORSE. THANK YOU HES GOING TO VET FRIDAY I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.

Almost looks like a warble but I've only seen cats get those on their neck
Hi, looks like cat acne my cat gets that all the time. But the problem with that is if it gets infected it forms a hard lump and needs antibiotics to clear it up. That’s the only way it clears up. My cat was put on zeniquin and it helped immediately and it is painful for the cat. I would bring it to the vet to get antibiotics and what I would do is ask for two months of pills. So if it ever comes back again you will have the meds on hand and won’t have to spend for another vet visit. If it doesn’t get cleared up and has infection can get really bad. I would clean it every day with warm water. But that’s not going to cure it. Good luck
