hi im writing about my cat baby...heres some background...shes around 10 or 11...i got her when she was like 2...we have tried all types of cat food...she would get sick after eating ..shed be ok at first for about a month or 2 ,,,she would get sick be ok get sick etc.....then she would keep getting sick after every time she ate so it was on to another food,, then back to one we tried and it would go on and on like this...for years we have been trying out different foods....i finally found some thing she doesnt get sick after eating..about 4 months now!!! she gets fancy feast wet cat food 2 x a day and she gets meow mix seafood whenever she wants that.........she doesnt get sick at all on this but she is all bones now like over night she turned into bones and she meows at her wet cat food bowl all the time...every time i get up she runs to her bowl meowing....she doesnt eat her dry food very much ...she just wants more wet cat food....she already gets 2 cans a day and as u know fancy feast is not cheap.....ive been told that she is getting enough food,,,,but she still wants more and she wakes me up at 3 and 4 in the morning by meowing in my face in my bed...its crazy... i took her to the vet about 6 or 7 month ago and they told me she was fine...now shes bones i do not want to take her back to the vet cuz i dont like how they just want to poke and prod her and then tell me shes ok...its very upsetting for my cat and me...but im also afraid something is seriously wrong with her,,,shes boney...her fur looks like its greasy...but its dry...i dont know what to do....please someone help me and my cat? should i just feed her more wet cat food? or hold out for her to eat more dry food?

Please bring her to the vet. It sounds like hyperthyroidism. Cats get hungry all the time and lose weight… and fur can get greasy. If your cat does have this.!it’s okay they just need the medicine once a day depending on the level. Once she’s on the medication the weight will come back on. If it’s that. But it doesn’t sound too good. Then the eating habit will go back to normal.! So please bring your baby to the vet possibly didn’t take a test for this. Please mention this to your veterinarian. Soooo sorry. Anytime a cat eats a lot crazy like that that’s an indication of something. Unless could it have worms . Just thinking. Hope it goes okay. Sorry your going through this.
