Hi all! My name is Grace and I recently adopted a street cat in Korea. A teacher at my school noticed him and saw he had an abscess, so she trapped him and fostered him. He moved in with me about two weeks ago and has been a joy! His name is Li'l Papi. Two days ago, the same teacher trapped another cat who she thinks is Papi's littermate. The new kitten has been VERY scared, and I'm working on building up her/his trust. He/she will go to the vet later this week, then I can start to introduce the two kitties. I think if they get along, that will go a long way in building up the new kitty's trust in me. Advice welcome!!

When you take you kitty to vet, make sure they get their all their shots, worming medication, to that they will be healthy. I would keep them separated for a day or so, but then exchange some of the bedding so they becme familiar with each other's scent. Kittties make friends quickly and don't need a long introduction period like adult cats do. Good luck, and all the best!
