Hi everyone. My husband, daughter & I will be getting a kitten in a couple weeks & it is our first cat as a family. I grew up with cats as did my husband but we really have no experience taking care of a cat on our own. I just have a ton of questions!

We have a spacious two story condo so the kitten will have plently of space to run around & will be able to access all rooms in the house at any time & I am a stay at home mom who is home 90% of the week so he will usually always have someone around. We are getting him from my mother-in-law who's cat recently had kittens (he will be 10wks in 2 weeks). I believe he will be a medium haired.

:) Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

You might consider getting 2 kittens, 2 aren't any more trouble then 1 and they can keep each other company and entertained.
Since they would be litter mates you'd want 2 that already get along without one being dominant over the other.
Cats are social creatures and can form life long bond with their housemate.

We actually brought her home Monday afternoon. We wanted a boy, but he turned out to be a girl... or our daughter picked the boys twin sister, either way.. her name is Penny & we love her to pieces!
