I am from Malaysia. Our family just adopted a cat ( Ally) from the local SPCA and hope to learn more in this forum. Sadly, Ally was already sick with diarrhoea when we got her. We took it to the vet and is now a little better.

Congrats!

My newest addition had awful diarrhea when we got him... it was caused by parasites (in his case it was roundworms and coccidia). Did your vet check for that? I hope your kitty is all better soon!

When I brought one of my cats home his stool was very runny. I wonder if it could be stress-related.

Either way, congrats on your new furry friend. I'm so happy you went through SPCA, I love those guys.

Hi! I got my third cat from a shelter and I think she is the most love able cat I have ever had. Hope your cat gets better.

My first cat was from a shelter too. Of course when I went to pick him up there was another kitten with him. So I asked if he had a home to go to. I was told that they had just kept him alive to keep my kitten company. So of course I left with both kittens..... Don't regret it though - both brilliant cats.
