Welcome to Cat Forum. You have very lovely kitties - although I certainly would wear sox if I had a kitten like Xander! BTW, Willow is very pretty too - I've always loved sleek dogs.

Thanks for the welcome!

Everyone is so friendly! I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's photos here. I'll post more about myself in the Say Meow Forum soon. BTW, Willow the greyhound is actually a lady, and yes, she's great with the kitties!

I was just hearing how grayhounds make wonderful pets, very gentle and loving. Did you get Willow as a puppy?

Hi, Lori, greyhounds are lovely, wonderful dogs! Willow is very cat-like, in fact! I never even wanted a dog (always been a cat person) until I met a greyhound and just fell in love with their sweet, gentle nature.

She was bred and raised to race in Florida, but wasn't fast enough to make the grade, so was adopted out at about 18 months of age. If you're interested, here's a link to a Minnesota Greyhound Adoption Group:

and another to a greyhound message board I'm addicted to (member name is kristijewell there):

If anyone has any questions about retired racing greyhounds as pets, please feel free to PM me or post on greytalk.com!
