New member in Texas :-)

Good morning! I'm a fairly new cat "owner" (as if anyone owns a cat) and wanted to reach out to a community of cat caretakers.

Our cat is a Calico named Pumpkin because she appeared at our door last October and has a lot of orange. She was apparently a family cat because she's comfortable in the house, but really likes being outdoors, so she spends a lot of time outside the house when the weather is good.

I hope to learn more about our new family member, and may have some questions.
